Craig Lowndes' Record-breaking WIN!
Craig Lowndes has claimed a record-breaking 91st career win in the opening race of the V8 Supercars round in Perth.
The 38-year-old Holden driver overtook his Red Bull Racing teammate Jamie Whincup on the 28th lap of the 50-lap race at Barbagallo Raceway and held on for an emotional victory.
Lowndes surpassed the all-time V8 Supercars winning record 90 victories set by fellow Australian Mark Skaife, who immediately came down from his TV commentary position to congratulate the three-time series champion and five-time Bathurst winner.

Marquez Becomes Youngest Ever Winner
On Saturday, 20-year-old Marquez took over from former double title winner Freddie Spencer as the youngest ever pole-sitter in the premier class. V8 Supercars Change Date for Sydney 500
V8 Supercars has agreed to a date change of this year’s Sydney 500 to accommodate a major international music event at Sydney Olympic Park in December.
The Sydney 500 will move back a week to December 6-8, the first full weekend in December, after V8 Supercars was advised the major music festival Stereosonic had been booked at the venue. Read More»
